A photo shoot...

While Pam and Zachary were visiting we took the opportunity to go get pictures made of all the kids. I'll be honest... taking 5 kids to the mall (on a rainy day no less) and attempting to have them all look at the camera and smile at the same time was QUITE an adventure. I was EXHAUSTED when we were finished. And Pam and I were convinced that others looked on at us either with pity or with disbelief at our situation. Regardless, of that. Here is what the end result was:

A weekend in Delaware- with The Branches

So, last weekend we visited Bethany Beach and our friends. The trip wasn't only leisure as The Branches (Jae's band) had several shows. They played Saturday night, led worship at a church on Sunday morning, and then led worship at a different church (back home in Maryland) on Sunday night. The weekend was busy and exhausting. However, we managed to squeeze some 'fun' in too. Here are some photos from that weekend.

In the spirit of true 'drama'--- Mike's car broke down (He needed an alternator). So, you see Chris, Dan, and Matt here working on Mike's car. Mike is one one who looks so lost...

And I thought I'd throw one in of Sophie. She has been doing this a lot lately. She just falls asleep wherever she is... comfort doesn't really seem to be an issue.

At the Orioles game...

Nicolas, Julia, Emma my dad and I went to the Orioles game Wednesday night. It was awesome until the skies opened up and it rained drops as big as quarters (ok, maybe dimes).

Oh so sorry....

So its been awhile since I've uploaded anything. Blame it on busy summer time OR being the parents of FOUR kids OR just plain laziness. Whichever you prefer to choose is fine. But, nonetheless, here are some updated photos and a video we took tonight of Sophie in her chair. She is now 4 months old and is a joy. She had her checkup last week and weighed in at 14.6 lbs. She has moved into 50% for weight which is a jump from 2 months ago. We started her on solid food recently and she loves it. Hopefully, I'll get some photos of that soon.

Nicolas, Julia, and Emma are also enjoying Sophie and the summer time. We're spending lots of time at the pool and we've been to visit some friends recently at the beach. We're looking ahead to our family vacation to the Outerbanks in September. In the meantime, our schedule is nuts!

Sophie is a growing girl...

Our little girl is growing like a weed... we went for her two month visit today and she weighed in at: 10 lbs 10 oz. She also grew to 21 3/4 inches long. She is hitting every milestone she should be and we are all in love completely. She turned two months on May 9th... and time is flying!
